The Time magazine ” 25 Best Inventions of 2017″ included innovations that might look simple but can improve our life. Here are some of my favorites:

The elevator cars can travel in multiple directions and even pass each other within a shaft—features that could not only reduce wait times, but also fundamentally “change how buildings are constructed,”. Will be launched in Berlin by 2021

Development after by Nike after meeting with UAE weight lifter in 2016. This Hijab is made with light, breathable fabric that wicks moisture that helps manage sweat.

Airborne drones

Airborne drones helping anyone take better photos, videos and selfies.

This new Airborne is easier to operate( gesture recognition means you can control it with a wave of your hand), harder to crash (an array of sensors help prevent midair collisions) and relatively cheap. Launched in June, China-based DJI.

Michelin Airless Tires

 

3D printed airless tire made from recycled materials, which can be swapped in and out without changing the tire itself. Michelin estimates that a tire this advanced may still be as far as 20 years away. But some of its features, like airless designs and sensors that flag driv­ers when treads are wearing down, could become soon.
